The name Rizhao is originated from an old saying, 'It was the first to get the sunshine'. As the saying goes, the city is renowned for receiving nature's blessings with plenty of sun, sand, and blue skies all year round. Tourists coming to the city are attracted to its natural beauty, virgin beaches, summer resorts, good transportation facilities, and water sports.
